Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman

Well, taking Anansi Boys off my books to buy section. Just finished reading it at Candle Lake. Met a female cop up there visiting her
parents, and Daisy a female cop in the book. Some bits about black women in St. Andrews (no idea where that is and won't write
down the refernce). Lots of just little things and forgiveness and happiness. Of doing things by the book, but starting with blank pages
and writing your own book, or song. Be confident in who you are and where you're going. Good stuff. It takes me about one to two
years to read a book so I can't really do reviews properly, heh. The author is Neil Gaiman the guy behind Mirrormask and Stardust.
My spider pic is from the movie Mirrormask.

Discrimination Is Good

"In the abstract, discrimination means noticing differences among people and classifying them into groups on the basis of those differences. We do this all the time. Teachers discriminate among students in assigning grades; employers discriminate among job applicants; everyone discriminates among people in choosing friends. What most of us object to is not discrimination (or classification) per se, but discriminationon the basis of attributes such as race or sex that are not essentially related to the treatment a person deserves."

This is from page 21 in the book Art Of Reasoning by David Kelley.

We're all rascist, bigots who discriminate upon what we know or suspect of the world outside ourselves. Our five sense are pretty much useless without some type of memory holding them together. And supposedly humans can experience more than other animals because we change the enviornment in which we live. In conclusion, I should watch more David E Kelly tv shows and stop writing such silly blogs, cheers.
