6月17日 White Masai: ReinterprettedThis is my interpretation of the movie. So, if you've seen the movie you might notice a small difference
here and there, hehe. She looks at me and she sees, what? An exotic flower? No, something.
Something more? Ehh, she is white we will see each other no more.
She meets my eyes and holds them far too long, others seem to see it too. I keep meeting her is it fate,
or destiny? Ehh, she will leave she must there is nothing here for her.
People say there is a white woman looking for me. Here? Can she really have returned? For me? There
is nothing here for her but me. What void in her life can I possibly fill. Sex? Aah, that must be it some
kind of notch in her bedpost I suppose.
She's good. I'd like more. She wants to change the world, I'll show we can do it together. I'll drive the truck into the village. Shit!
She doesn't need my help. Worse! She'll make me into a woman. How can I show her how much I
disapprove? I'll walk away without trying to explain.

It's very strange when you see yourself in a character, and that character is behaving badly, hehe.
It sounds easy to confront things, just walk right up look the person in the eye and say what needs
to be said. Burn the bridge, break the ice and many other cliches come to mind. The problem is that
sometimes I don't really wish to appear as ignorant as I am, or wish to offend someone by my
actions. However sometimes, when you really love someone you just have to take the risk of rejection,
loss of face or whatever. In the movie the guy from Masai says, "you're cheating on me," but actually
means, "you need to prove your love to me somehow...Help convince me that your love is true." She
leaves because no one in the movie knows how to do that. It's not really something she can do, it's all up to him. 3月22日 Kenneth Eng's screenplay summationThe tale is a simple one: an anthropomorphic praying mantis named Anamantis is a "cognitive insurgent" who lives shortly after the Big Bang in the early universe. Mostly, he goes around using his "cerebral fluid sword" to fight a bunch of monsters: the ultra-dimensional Darkaeons, Hera and Pegusus, and a dangerous fleet of space kittens. After teaming up with Shrodingo, Chaos and a comely lady dragon named Drakoness, he goes in search of ultimate knowledge and the 0th Dimension. Then he sort of merges with the universe, his neurons float everywhere, and he bonds his cerebral fluids with Drakoness (who responds by saying, "Whoa! Intelligence!"). There's nothing like a screenplay with stage directions like "EXT. 0th DIMENSION" or "Animantis looks into [Drakoness'] eyes. He sees a world of frolicsome neurons inside her head" or "The felines jam a needle down the tarpan's penis." http://blog.wired.com/tableofmalcontents/2007/03/go_deep_inside_.html

Can someone please make this into a movie?? Someone from Youtube please, hell I'd go to theatres to check it out!! 12月11日 The Science Of SleepFrom watching no movies to watching two movies in two days!! Wow!! This movie was very funny with language barriers and emotional barriers. A highly perverted and imaginative guy who gets reality and dreams mixed up falls in love with an imaginative girl. The girl I went with looked at me with exagerated seriousness and said I was a lot like the main character. And it's true. I overthink things until they are out of reach. A defence mechanism that prevents me from getting hurt from life, but prevents me from really enjoying life. Oh well, I can't help myself. Lines I loved from this movie: Stephanie says, "A bird in the hand is worth my bush." Stephane says, "You have big hands it means you have a big penis." Stephanie replies, "I'm a woman I don't have a penis." Lots of huge awkward moments. Just like real life.

Yup, three other small disappointments in James Bond are no boobies, as Amanda mentioned, hehe. And Bond isn't very sexist, and isn't as charming. He's a bit grittier. Still, this new guy might be better than Brosnan. Brosnan wasn't sexist, and the special fx stuff took away from the plot. Q and Cleese held those movies up though.
12月10日 James Bond Casino RoyaleWow! Been a month since I've seen a movie in theatres!! I love the humor of James Bond in this movie. I love the action, intrigue and suspense. Great job!! My only problem is maybe a small problem that shows my age. I don't like so many soap opera shots. Don't zoom in on characters all the time zoom out show the room, show Italy, the mise en scene. Oh well, I'm just getting old I guess. 11月4日 Rat FinkI just saw Rat Fink, a documentary of "Big Daddy" Roth. Sorry forgot his first name.
Even though Roth passed away before the movie was made I think he'd have liked
it. It's amazing that the driving age was 14, and that Roth and his friends could all
have cars. And that they were able to all customize their cars and build them from
scratch. Big Daddy might not have been the first to customize cars, but he was the
first to customize T-shirts, and the first to have car models so kids could build
replicas of the cars he made. He was also the first to build a car totally of fiberglass
and possibly the first to make a car that could hover off the ground. Customizing
things making each one an original is something that seems to come and go these
days. There are a few places that continue to customize cars, and a few places
that customize T-shirts and computers, but their aren't as many people doing it on
their own, and for themselves. I think this movie is kind of like a prequel to the
movie Cars. Get some history of the scene then take a look at how it all comes
together in the movie Cars. I also like the idea that Roth had problems building
the model cars, cause I know I royally sucked at it. 10月25日 Better Than BlairCANNIBAL HOLOCAUST - $4.95
http://www.hkflix.com/coupons/n75/?a2 From the twisted comedy of Frank Henenlotter we move to the simply twisted: Ruggero Deodato's disturbing 1979 film, Cannibal Holocaust. Think of this film as the "Blair Witch Project" on steroids. In 1979 four documentary filmmakers disappear in the jungles of South America while shooting a film about cannibalism. Six months later the New York University, along with the Pan American Broadcasting Corporation, sends a search team in looking for the filmmakers. They don't find the filmmakers, but they do find the film... Newsletter-exclusive sale pricing ends November 8th or when supplies run out. *************** Right after I heard of The Blair Witch Project I immediately heard of this movie.
It's supposed to be a lot better. I tried watching the Blair Witch and ended up fast
forwarding because I was so bored. I thought the Blair Witch was a deranged
woman from the cult of Martha Stewart with those strange twig craft stuff.

I went to Rogers Video and they have War Of The Worlds the TV series!! My
favorite sci fi series. Possibly the most messed up plot and the most continuity
errors ever on a TV show!! 9月18日 A Scanner DarklyWell, I read the book and as always the book is better than the movie. It must really be hard to figure out what to leave in and what to leave out. Personally I'd probably make it longer and try to include more of the prose from the book. The stark contrast between the lives of people on Substance D, and the people not on Subsatnce D isn't really done to full effect in this movie and you also don't get to realize just who all the roomates really are. No one is who they pretend to be. I don't want everything to be revealed in a cheesey way, but they could have at least hinted at things, and I think the audience didn't have to be hand-held the fact that one lady actually has three personalities. Hmm, actually I probably would have put a montage flashback of the first three months of the house and it's occupants...Stuff hinted at in the book and some from my imagination, as well as the contrast with people totally uninvolved looking in.
I'm still unsure whether I would have prefered a live action with CGI movie to this cartoon style.
All in all it's a very good movie, showing that you can't hide from reality through drugs. You just create a different reality that cuts you off from a bigger one. There are many groups of society that fall into the fringes and never seem to climb back up just as there are those who decide it isn't worth it. A junkie and a war veteran can never fully explain their experiences to someone who has never had a mind altering substance, or has never fought along strangers killing other strangers, and then suddenly having to give back the gun and be around people you have foggy memories of. I like to read things from the fringes, like the links on my page, however, I'm not in the fringes of society. There was a time when I looked up to a guy on Artbyte magazine, he was a freelancer. He had a dummy accounts some bank accounts some for email and even some for a post office box. He lived with friends when he traveled and people only knew of him through word of mouth. A shadow in the night. I'm older now, and wonder what kind of retirement you can get from a job like that, and many other...conservative thoughts pop up in my mind...Hungry now.......... 9月17日 Movie NewsJust decided to check out www.filmjerk.com they've got a new look and i really enjoy it! http://www.shatnerdvdclub.com/movies?src=whatmoviesimg#it2i2 On the site I found this link, William Shatner's movie club website where you get some of the great sci fi movies that you may have never even heard of. Also if you happen to be southern California check out the Hollywood theatres this month it looks like there's a whole lot of great movies playing from 1999 and earlier. I wish I could go! Nacho LibreI've been wanting to see this movie for quite awhile now, and finally got to see it! It's got a great little message in my opinion; you might not always win the big prize, but as long as you're focused on your goals you can never be called a loser. This movie is also about a guy who doesn't believe in religion, a nun who holds the laws of her religion close to her heart and a man who wants to be relgious and also follow his heart. Loving something or someone and being able to see that even if those feelings aren't reciprocated at least people will know that your feelings are true and heartfelt. Not everyone feels the same way about things as yourself, but that doesn't mean the two of you can't be friends, and over time feelings can also change.
9月5日 My Super Ex-Girlfriend 2Well, the reason I say not everyone is a superhero is because the couple on my floor left without paying the rent. The girl was rather nice same with her daughter. Unfortunately the guy was nicknamed Spycho a name he totally deserved. He'd yell and swear at his wife and kid and liked to store the trash in his place. A guy like that isn't someone I'd call a superhero, however, those that tried to get the lady to change her locks and told her to call the cops on him if he entered the building did the best they could. I also know a guy whose in jail for being a pedophile. I can't really say he's a friend, and all my experience with people like that is they all seem to be repeat offenders who think they are somehow above the law. Not superheroes, but somehow god-like, or super villains. Hehe, I usually do try to hide in a cave though, I mean I know many people from different walks of life and introducing them to each other wouldn't be a very smart idea. 9月4日 My Super Ex-GirlfriendI wasn't really looking forward to seeing this movie, it just seemed beyond anything I could get into. A superhero woman who is a nutcase. I find it hard to consider a nutcase a superhero. But I actually got into this movie, it's about a woman who barely exists. She doesn't really know herself, she likes art and feels compelled to help people. I don't think she saves peoples lives because she's a good person, she saves peoples lives because she feels forced to. It's something she can do better than anyone else and no one can take it away from her. Her exboyfriend wants to take her powers away from her he feels that she would finally be able to function as a part of society and not have to worry about a silly secret identity. When you're really good at something but it prevents you from interacting with friends and family then maybe you need to find more things to be good at to be closer to those you love. To be a superhero to the one you love can be something as simple as getting a sliver out of their finger or showing concern when you are powerless to help in a situation sometimes empathy is enough. To be a superhero is going out of your way for someone else. We can all be superheroes but not all of us are. 8月25日 The PropositionIt was a little bit gory. My favorite scene is when the police chief is in bed with his wife and hears a gun shot. He rolls out of bed, grabs his gun and runs right into the door and falls down. He tells his wife to stay in bed. When he gets outside his house he sees his guard with his toes blown off his foot. He immediately scans the horizon for the shooter. The guard starts to laugh, and explains that he pulled the trigger of his gun while sleeping and shot his own toes off. The Proposition is an odd story about an immorale world where right and wrong are judged by conflicting circumstances. The aboriginie believe in an eye for an eye. The police chief wants vengeance and to bring down the Burns Boys. The...Mayor? He wants swift justice on whoever he can find fault with. And finally there are the Burns Boys who live by their own unidentifiable rules. When all you know, all you've been taught is gone. And the world that's left is not welcoming...Where and what do you do? This could actually become an interesting sequel of a man starting over. He could become a bounty hunter or a sheriff, or whatever. 8月22日 My Snakes On A PlaneSkinny man with glasses looking proper in an airport awaiting his baggage. People come and go. Eventually he asks about his luggage, he was to recieve several crates of snakes from a plane. He is told that his luggage must have been lost.
Aboard a plane Snake Pliskin from Escape From New York is cooking meals, Jake the Snake is piloting the plane and the head of Cobra (the guys against GI Joe) is trying to enjoy his first vacation in years. And some idiot named Samuel L Jackson is taking a prisoner on the plane. There is some turbulence and the crates with snakes break open. There is an electrical short and Snake Pliskin is sent in to rip out a wall to see how bad the damage is. Jake the Snake has reduced electrical power so no power surges will happen. In the dim light a snake attacks Snake, but just before it can bite the dude from Crocadile Hunter comes in and grabs the snake just by the head. "Baah, it's not even leathal let's bag it so we don't scare the passengers." Snake grunts and looks into the wall panel to find the short. A snake bites him around the eyeball. And snake starts bashing his head against the wall trying to kill the snake. "I don't give a !@#$ if it's lethal or not I just want it to die!!" "Crikey! That ones lethal! Tell the pilot there's a snake on the plane!" Snake goes to the pilot, "There's a snake on the plane!" says Snake. And the pilot says, "Yes, I'm Jake The Snake, and I'm on the plane. You want an autograph?" "No!" says Snake, "I mean there's a real snake on the plane!" Jake the Snake turns around, "!@#$ Snake! You got a snake on your face!" "Land the plane now!!" says Snake. "Sorry too much turbulence and we're heading into a storm. The instruments are shorting out." Did you fix the short?" "NO!! I got a snake on my eye!!" Song come on "hiss, hiss who let the snakes out?"
The snakes become friends with Cobra...and well the stupidity and hilarity continue. In the end everyone is arrested for killing animals on the endangered species list. Well, those that live. 8月19日 Lady VengeanceI recently saw the Korean movie Lady Vengeance. It's amazing to see a woman change her personality to suit what she needs in order to survive with her demons. She doesn't wish to destroy the demons, just live with them. The first half of this movie shows how much anger and obsession goes into committing a crime that feels justified. Everything she has goes into making amends for her mistakes and allowing the victims a chance to inflict their own brand of justice. But is it really their justice if it is on her terms? After justice is served she seems lost and directionless, but then sees her daughter and becomes happy. I'm unsure about whether she will give her daughter back to the Australians or decide to be a mother. Maybe the Angel will share her daughter with the Australians...Maybe. This movie reminds me a lot of the Fritz Lang movie M just a lot more bloody and more women. The child killings stuff is kinda the same, but the whole twist about Angel/Witch and the ransoms...This is definitely a remake of M that is far superior to many other remakes. M was about a certain time (post WWI) and a certain place (Germany), and Lady Vengeance is about Korea...But I'm unsure if there is a certain time mentioned. 8月13日 Pirates Of The CarribeanI finally was able to see this movie with my friends! We bought our tickets and waited outside the theatre. We thought we could just enter in since it seemed that there wasn't any noise coming from inside so we entered only to be ushered back out again by the cleaning staff. When we entered after the cleaning staff left the floor still had garbage on it. I mean shouldn't the enterance-way be the first most noticeable spot to be cleaned? So, my friends and I were about to sit down when N...Didn't. There was no seat for him? Someone had actually removed a seat from the theatre? Just music no trivia thing nothing. I guess when a movie hits the crappiest theatre it's on it's way to the cheap theatre.
The first thing I noticed about this movie is holy black people!! Not a bad thing just interesting...The Carribean...Black people...Someone was thinking. I've always loved the old hoodoo voodoo, gris gris ju ju thing. The animals, the plants, the smells. Haiti and the bayou. I really liked this movie because it kept a few of the original crew and kept moving forward with incredible action sequences. A lot of the characters have strong personalities instead of just being wallpaper. I also love all the sword fighting and pirateering, and bad teeth, hehe hilarious. The cliff-hanger was really good too!! I watched Matrix 2 and thought it sucked so bad I haven't seen the third yet. "Hey! Let's have a party before we die!!" "Here's a fork, Neo." Some of the lines and things were just stupid. The Smiths were good, but I wish they'd make more albums - I mean the Mr. Smiths virus stuff was exciting! 8月11日 The Devil And Daniel JohnstonI've heard many stories of Daniel Johnston and his music and art. I would really love to see his cartoons turn into an animated tv show. Some of the things I heard about Daniel Johnston were misinformation such as the fact that he threw a nurse out a second story window while on a deranged rampage. Actually it was an elderly woman who ran out a second story window because she was scared of him. Another misinformation is that he overpowered his dad and throw the plane's keys out the window in midflight thinking he was Captain America. The truth is he thought he was Casper The Friendly Ghost.
This movie is probably the first time I've actually heard Daniel Johnston's music and it's really...eclectic folk, from very happy and child-like to dark and depressing. Just like the mood swings that he experiences. Whether it be his song Mountain Dew, or his song of going to a funeral in a coffin and never coming out. At the end of the movie you see him sort of dancing and orchestrating an invisible band. It's just like all of his songs. It's like he's lassoed his listeners and is trying to pull them into hearing the notes and instruments that are never played. Kirk Cobain wore a Daniel Johnston T Shirt, Sonic Youth babysat Daniel Johnston when he was in his twenties. Daniel tried to runaway. Tom Waits and others covered his songs. There are so many ways of reinterpretting his songs that they are timeless.
I wish I could recommend this movie to my friends but I have no idea how they feel about this music, and it is hard sometimes to know whether to laugh or cry. I tried to explain this movie to a guy at work and he just didn't believe Daniel Johnston was real. The story seems so far-fetched. Even his parents seem unsure at times. This is why I originally thought the movie would be a Hollywood movie with big actors playing all the parts not actual people like a member of the Butthole Surfers having an interview at the dentist.
7月24日 Coffee And CigarettesWhile I do like watching different styles and genres of movies I don't think I would like to sit through this whole movie in a theatre. Vignette s stuck together to make a full movie just sounds like a bad idea. Vignettes work very well on half hour comedies like Mad TV and others, but in my opinion there should be a stronger story linking them together. Monty Python's Holy Grail is a string of Vignettes that work well because each short skit brings them closer to finding the Holy Grail...Or not. 7月22日 Sense of humor gone badThis is from the movie Coffee And Cigarettes, it's Wu Tang Clan and Bill Murray. I just get a kick out of two ganster rapper types, drinking tea from an eighteenth century-type teapot and shot glasses, while Bill Murray is drinking coffee straight out of the pot. This looks like something I might have written in my Not This Macho series...Only I don't use famous people, cause they can sue. Oh well, it's my humor maybe not yours. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lBz-hmlGaYg&mode=related&search= 6月21日 Bad Movie IdeaHitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy 2: The Towel Ban
What's the worst thing that could happen to galactic hitchhikers? A towel ban created by an evil cult known as the Tally Ban who blow things up everytime they don't get their way. Will there be a sequel called Return of The Hitchhikers, followed up with the Tally Ban Strike Back? Um, no. Sorry. The total budget on the first movie was $15 and was spent on beer.
Traveling From Bagdad To Bagdad
A Family goes from Bagdad Iraq in search of the American dream and arrive in Bagdad California. The dad misses football aka soccer, and decides to build a smaller version of the game and tries to get all ages and both sexes to play together. His son renounces his faith, religion and culture feeling that terrorists have stolen his religious identity and that he must find his own. The daughter struggles between old and new identities, and the wife must try to keep the family together as she prays for rain.
It says on here that they don't really get a lot of rain...Was trying to find out if this year is the highest record of rain around the world, but I don't know how to check this out. I know China is experiencing unusual amounts of rain and my city is as well. Identity theft and religious and cultural theft. You never really get your stuff back in it's entirety, you never really feel secure with the things and feelings and memories that you have.
