11月28日 I Love Happy Endings: RevisedNov. 28th 2009Someone actually found the original I Love Happy Endings and it appeared on my stats thingy. It took me a long time to find it in my blogs, but I finally did. The link no longer works so I decided to just copy an article about it here. http://www.uncommondescent.com/intelligent-design/eric-pianka-time-for-an-interview-with-the-department-of-homeland-security/ I apologize for the weird writing mess ups, but at least this link works :)2 April 2006Eric Pianka: The Department of Homeland Security needs to interview youWilliam DembskiI blogged yesterday about UTAustin professor Eric Pianka (aka “Dr. Doom”) and his advocacy of killing 90% of the world’s human population with airborne Ebola. Could Pianka be charged with terrorism/conspiracy to commit a terrorist act? What happens if a student actually takes his suggestion to heart and kills a bunch of people? Why shouldn’t we think that Dr. Doom himself would commit the act of human destruction he is advocating? How is what he is saying any different from somebody at an airport saying that he plans to plant a bomb there. Note: This is not a matter of saying he actually has planted a bomb but saying that he plans to plant one — that surely would be enough in the current climate to get him arrested. So what about Pianka? At what point do his remarks advocating human destruction constitute a terrorist threat that get him arrested? And if not arrested, how about committed? As soon as this is posted, I’m going to have a chat with the Department of Homeland Security. [Called them -- They are aware of it; it will be interesting to see if they do anything about it.] For your information, I’ve posted an article below by a reporter who was there at Pianka’s remarks (AP refused to pick up the story, so the page is presently overloaded).
——————————————————————————– DOOMSDAY: UT professor says death is imminent Published April 2, 2006 AUSTIN  A University of Texas professor says the Earth would be better off with 90 percent of the human population dead. “Every one of you who gets to survive has to bury nine,†Eric Pianka cautioned students and guests at St. Edward’s University on Friday. Pianka’s words are part of what he calls his “doomsday talk† a 45-minute presentation outlining humanity’s ecological misdeeds and Pianka’s predictions about how nature, or perhaps humans themselves, will exterminate all but a fraction of civilization. Though his statements are admittedly bold, he’s not without abundant advocates. But what may set this revered biologist apart from other doomsday soothsayers is this: Humanity’s collapse is a notion he embraces. Indeed, his words deal, very literally, on a life-and-death scale, yet he smiles and jokes candidly throughout the lecture. Disseminating a message many would call morbid, Pianka’s warnings are centered upon awareness rather than fear. “This is really an exciting time,†he said Friday amid warnings of apocalypse, destruction and disease. Only minutes earlier he declared, “Death. This is what awaits us all. Death.†Reflecting on the so-called Ancient Chinese Curse, “May you live in interesting times,†he wore, surprisingly, a smile. So what’s at the heart of Pianka’s claim? 6.5 billion humans is too many. In his estimation, “We’ve grown fat, apathetic and miserable,†all the while leaving the planet parched. The solution? A 90 percent reduction. That’s 5.8 billion lives  lives he says are turning the planet into “fat, human biomass.†He points to an 85 percent swell in the population during the last 25 years and insists civilization is on the brink of its downfall  likely at the hand of widespread disease. “[Disease] will control the scourge of humanity,†Pianka said. “We’re looking forward to a huge collapse.†But don’t tell local “citizen scientist†Forrest Mims to quietly swallow Pianka’s call to awareness. Mims says it’s an “abhorrent death wish†and contends he has “no choice but to take a stand.†Mims attended the educator’s doomsday presentation at the Texas Academy of Science’s annual meeting March 2-4. There, the organization honored Pianka as its 2006 Distinguished Texas Scientist  another issue Mims vocally opposes. “This guy is a loose cannon to believe that worldwide genocide is the only answer,†said Mims, who filed two formal petitions with the academy following the meeting. Joining the crusade, UT physics professor James Pitts became the second to publicly chastise Pianka when he filed a complaint Saturday with the UT board of regents. He insists a state university is no place to disseminate such views. He writes: “Pianka’s message does not fall within the realm of his professional competence as a biologist, because it is a normative claim, not a descriptive one. Pianka is encouraged to use his ecological expertise to predict the likely consequences of certain technological and reproductive strategies, but to evaluate some as good, bad, or worthy of prevention by genocide is the realm of philosophy or political science, not science. His message falls no more within his professional competence than it would for a physicist to teach religion in class or a musician to encourage racism.†But Pianka, a 38-year UT educator, maintains he’s not campaigning for genocide. He likens mankind’s story to an unbridled party on a luxury cruise liner. The fun’s going strong on the upper deck, he says. But as crowds blindly absorb the festivities, many fail to notice the ship is sinking. “The biggest enemy we face is anthropocentrism,†he said, describing the belief system in which humans are the central element of the universe. “This is that common attitude that everything on this Earth was put here for [human] use.†To Pianka, a human life is no more valuable than any other  a lizard, a bison, a rhino. And as humans reproduce, the demand for resources like food, water and energy becomes more than the Earth can sustain, he says. Ken Wilkins, a Baylor University biology professor and associate dean, agrees the inevitability of a crashing point is unarguable. “The human population is growing,†he said. “We will see a point when we reach the carrying capacity  there aren’t enough resources.†But resources aren’t the only threat, Pianka says. It’s the Ebola virus he deems most capable of wide scale decimation. “Humans are so dense (in population) that they constitute a perfect substrate for an epidemic,†he says. He contends Ebola is merely an evolutionary step away from escaping the confines of Africa. And should an outbreak occur, Pianka assuredly says humanity will quickly come to a “grinding halt.†The professor’s not the only one who can articulate this concept. Because Pianka includes his doomsday material in his coursework, Ebola and its potential play a notable in some students’ studies . A syllabus for one course reads: “Although [Ebola Zaire] Kills 9 out of 10 people, outbreaks have so far been unable to become epidemics because they are currently spread only by direct physical contact with infected blood. However, a closely-related virus that kills monkeys, Ebola Reston, is airborne, and it is only a matter of time until Ebola Zaire evolves the capacity to be airborne.†It is here that some say Pianka ventures from provocative food for thought to, as Wilkins said, “very extreme material†that violate many people’s views  including his own  about the treatment of human life. While many praise Pianka’s boldness and scientific know-how, others say he crosses an ethical line in his treatment of Ebola’s viability as a killer. In an evaluation of Pianka’s course  performed anonymously in keeping with university policy  one student offered: “Though I agree that conservation biology is of utmost importance to the world, I do not think that preaching that 90 percent of the human population should die of Ebola is the most effective means of encouraging conservation awareness.†Mims says he’s seen countless doomsday predictions come and go. But Pianka’s is different, Mims said. Pianka, he insists, exhibits genuine cause for alarm. Mims worries fertile young minds with a thirst for knowledge may develop into enthusiastic supporters of a deadly disease, advocating the fall of humanity. “He recommended airborne Ebola as an ideal killing virus,†Mims said. “He showed slides of the Four Horsemen of the apocalypse and human skulls. He joked about requiring universal sterilization. It reminded me of a futuristic science fiction movie with a crazed scientist planning the death of humanity.†But as confident as Mims is in his assessment, he faces one unarguable fact: Most of Pianka’s former students are bursting with praise. Their in-class evaluations celebrate his ideas with words like “the most incredible class I ever had†and “Pianka is a GOD!†Mims counters their ovation with the story of a Texas Lutheran University student who attended the Academy of Science lecture. Brenna McConnell, a biology senior, said she and others in the audience “had not thought seriously about overpopulation issues and a feasible solution prior to the meeting.†But though McConnell arrived at the event with little to say on the issue, she returned to Seguin with a whole new outlook. An entry to her online blog captures her initial response to what’s become a new conviction: “[Pianka is] a radical thinker, that one!†she wrote. “I mean, he’s basically advocating for the death for all but 10 percent of the current population. And at the risk of sounding just as radical, I think he’s right.†Today, she maintains the Earth is in dire straits. And though she’s decided Ebola isn’t the answer, she’s still considering other deadly viruses that might take its place in the equation. “Maybe I just see the virus as inevitable because it’s the easiest answer to this problem of overpopulation,†she said. Though listeners like McConnell may walk away with a deadly message, Pianka maintains this is inconsistent with his lecture. One UT official said Pianka is likely well within his rights as a tenured educator. The 1940 Statement of Principles on Academic Freedom and Tenure  a set of guidelines recognized nationwide  guarantees college professors vast classroom liberties. But Neal Armstrong, vice provost for faculty affairs at UT, said even this freedom is not without limits. “Faculty members have the right of free speech like anyone else,†he said. “In the classroom, they’re free to express their views. There is the expectation, though, that in public  especially when speaking on controversial topics  they must make every effort to be clear that they are not speaking on behalf of the university.†Students should be able to discern on their own the validity of views like Pianka’s, Armstrong said. But if allegations of Pianka actively advocating human death were to be confirmed, he said “there might be some discussion about the appropriateness of that subject.†“I would hope that’s not what’s intended,†he said. “I don’t think that’s appropriate for the classroom, but that’s my personal statement.†Robert K. Jansen, chair of the section of integrated biology under which Pianka is classified, said his understanding of the doomsday material left no cause for concern. “It’s important for students to get all opinions, and they have to do that on a daily basis,†he said. To hold a classroom’s attention, Jansen says educators must often “speak their mind†in a fashion bold enough to garner a bit of shock. The Texas Academy of Science uses a similar approach in defending its decision to honor Pianka with the Distinguished Scientist award. Though TAS offered no direct comment to the Gazette-Enterprise, an email sent from TAS President David Marsh to Mims in response to Mims first letter of protest reads: “We select the DTS speaker based on his/her academic credentials and contributions to science. We do not mandate the subject he/she decides to address, nor will we ever. I would suggest that one of the purposes of any such presentation is to stimulate discussion  which indeed it did.†In his petitions, Mims inquires about the group’s stance on Pianka’s talk, asking if the recent honor should be interpreted as an endorsement by TAS. Marsh responded firmly, saying the award does not represent any formal backing of Pianka’s ideas. But despite the academy’s flat denial of any wrongdoing, Mims maintains his stance. He said thus far, he’s seen no response to the second petition. “I completely agree with one assertion made several times by Dr. Pianka: ‘The public is not ready to hear that he hopes 90 percent of them will be exterminated by disease,’†Mims said. McConnell said the TAS audience, unlike Mims, was in awe of Pianka’s words. They offered a standing ovation, and enthusiastically applauded Pianka’s position, Mims said. “There was a good deal of shock and just plain astonishment at what he had to say,†the student said. “Not many folk come out and talk about the end of the human population in as candid of a manner as he did. Dr. Pianka received a standing ovation at the end of his talk, if that says anything. What he had to say was radical, no question about it, but that is not to say that at least some of what he had to say is not true.†Though Pianka turned down requests for a sit-down interview, he maintains he is not advocating human death. Does he believe nature will bring about this promised devastation? Or is humanity’s own dissemination of a deadly virus the only answer? And more importantly, is this the motive behind his talks? Responding to these very questions, Pianka said, “Good terrorists would be taking [Ebola Roaston and Ebola Zaire] so that they had microbes they could let loose on the Earth that would kill 90 percent of people.†As of press time, Pitts  who sent his appeal via email Saturday  had received no response from the university, but he says, “It’s too early for any responses to have been made.†Meanwhile, Pianka urges humanity to heed his call to be prepared, saying “we’re going to be hunters and gatherers again real soon.†“This is gonna happen in your lifetime,†he told his St. Edward’s audience. “Do you wanna go there? We’ve already gone there. We waited too long.†• Read more about Pianka by visiting his lab page at uts.cc.utexas.edu/~varanus/ • Read more about Forrest Mims at www.forrestmims.org or visit the Citizen Scientist at http://www.sas.org/tcs/index.html This entry was posted Sunday, April 2nd, 2006 at 3:51 pm and is filed under Intelligent Design. Here is an article by Forrest Mims: http://www.sas.org/tcs/weeklyI.....index.html (via Drudge Report) I find it interesting that in the 20th century the most radically secular nations in history killed millions in the name of some form of saving the world. I fear that if this isn’t stopped there won’t be anybody left to kill by the end of the 21st. My stomach is in knots after reading this in the article: “Robert K. Jansen, chair of the section of integrated biology under which Pianka is classified, said his understanding of the doomsday material left no cause for concern. ‘It’s important for students to get ALL OPINIONS, and they have to do that on a daily basis,’ he said. To hold a classroom’s attention, Jansen says educators must often ‘SPEAK THEIR MIND’ in a fashion bold enough to garner a bit of shock.’” I guess intelligent design is much too shocking–unlike advocating mass extermination of the human species–to be included among the opinions students are allowed to hear. I don’t want to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but what if the governments are planning something like this right now. I mean overpopulation is a serious problem (Mass genocide is not the answer to the problem, but the problem exists, nonetheless.) It’s not like they would announce their plans to the world. I’m sure if something like this were to be done, the “fittest” members of society would be the ones picked to be spared. crandaddy Your premise is false as an empirical matter. The population problem is a myth. Fertility rates are falling all over the world, and the people watching the trends are starting to worry about what to do when the de-population explosion hits after the middle of this century. Check this out. http://www.globalissues.org/En.....ontrol.asp This professor is a perfect illustration of how the value of a college education is declining even as the cost goes up. “One UT official said Pianka is likely well within his rights as a tenured educator.” So get this: Pianka got tenure, but Beckwith did not (at Baylor no less, the largest Baptist university in the nation). Kathy preempted me on the following, but it’s worth reiterating: ” ‘It’s important for students to get all opinions, and they have to do that on a daily basis,’ he [Robert K. Jansen, chair of the section of integrated biology] said.” So why must ID proponents hide in the shadows of academia, for fear that challenging Darwinism could result in the destruction of their lives and careers? All of this reveals something very telling: Academia in the U.S. — outside of the hard sciences like mathematics, physics, chemistry, and engineering — is in a state of complete intellectual and moral meltdown. “I find it interesting that in the 20th century the most radically secular nations in history killed millions in the name of some form of saving the world. I fear that if this isn’t stopped there won’t be anybody left to kill by the end of the 21st.” According to the secular propaganda by my supposedly centre-right
local newspaper, the more secular nations tend to have less crime and
other societal problems. About the population problem: Alot of space if being freed here in a few decades (germany that is). Our population is getting older and older and soon Germans will be extinct. The CIA factbook pretty much shows this statistically. The median age will become older and older, and there are only 1.39 babies born per woman and almost 20% of our population is older than 65. Now I guess in about 150 years Indians, Chinese, and Pakis will populate Europe since it looks quite similar in all European countries. A population collapse is inevitable, at least in Germany (if nothing changes). So please Dr. Adolf Pianka spare us with your Ebola viruses and let us die in peace, we are doing everything we can for it. Facts for Germany: Age structure: 0-14 years: 14.4% (male 6,078,885/female 5,766,065) Median age: total: 42.16 years Population growth rate: [B]0%[/B] (2005 est.) Birth rate: 8.33 births/1,000 population (2005 est.) Death rate: 10.55 deaths/1,000 population (2005 est.) Net migration rate: 2.18 migrant(s)/1,000 population (2005 est.) Total fertility rate: 1.39 children born/woman (2005 est.) Source CIA factbook Texas Academy of Science getting death threats over Pianka The Pianka situation is getting very, very ugly. I’ve been chatting with a member of the Texas Academy of Science, and people there are getting death threats over it. Here’s one example of the kind of email they’re getting:… PZ is just jealous that another biologist, an overnight sensation no less, got a more militant reputation than Meyers’ own. Evidently Church Burning isn’t good enough anymore. Should we change their affectionate nick from Church Burners to Earth Scorchers in honor of Dr. “Doom” Pianka? -ds UT-Austin’s Moonbats What is it with The University of Texas at Austin? Every university has its imbeciles, but UT-Austin seems to have more than its share. You know about Brian Leiter, the academic thug. You may have heard of Robert Jensen, Ameri… crandaddy- some call it the NWO (New World Order). My suggestion is to “become” a member of a top secret society (skull & bones)- or get the heck “out-of-dodge”. I take a different view of Pianka- one that the avian flu, SARS, AIDS, Ebola X, etc., conjure year after year. He is just being honest about it. “Germs” can travel and spread much faster today and thanks to the failure neo-Darwinism has afforded biology, we just cannot deal with an outbreak. Only those already resistant (or isolated) will survive. Back in my “Christian” years I used to walk around wondering- “Well it was water last time and that was said to be it for that mechanism. So what will it be next? Go out with the bang of an asteroid impact? Or the whimper of an epidemic (think of the martians in “War of the Worlds”)? I even wrote a paper on that topic (massive culling of populations) in one of my English Comp courses. I think Pianka is just saying we are ripe for destruction and it is of our own doing. If we don’t do something now it may be too late- he is using “shock tactics”. [...] [The picture kinda reminds me of Eric “Ebola Boy” Pianka showing skulls as he publicly expressed his delight at the prospects of humanity being exterminated.] [...] Although I go along with much of what is said here, I think Dr. Pianka’s views have been badly distorted. I first met him back when he was a grad student, and in the mid 1960s he pretty much had the same ideas. Although as a man, he does not like the thought of it, he believes it is inevitable… That thought being, man is an organism. As such, like any other organism, when man reaches excessive population levels, another organism will inevitably cause a crash in population by using man as its food supply. Man, however is increasingly capable of responding to such crashes, and as a result, stretches the “bubble” ever thinner so that when the crash does come, it will be ever more catastrophic. Dr. Pianka has a web site that does a much better job of explaining it than I did. If one is to disagree with something, one should first have all of the facts and have them correct, and second, not read into them more than what is really there. He is not a terrorist, quite the contrary. He is a quiet and gentle person who sees things from a population ecology perspective and articulates them in his own way. My personal belief is that man’s overpopulation problem will be solved at Armageddon, not a catastrophic disease, and since Dr Pianka is not of the same persuasion as I am on Biblical matters, we differ, but that is another topic. I hate to state the obvious, but you’re kind of a polemic jerk. I just got through reading Sahotra Sarkar’s criticism of your theories in his book, “Doubting Darwin?”, and I almost felt he was being too harsh. But then I realized what an unpleasant fellow you are, and realize that you might have deserved it. By the way, the UofC says hello… 2 Women

Cassette Chucking 3 Hmm, well this cassette is basically a recording of my cd Closed On Account Of Rabies nothing really amazing there, but I will put up a link anyway. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x4a8fzr_L1Q 11月4日 :( Housework 35 months left! Questions: Was told to start doing this so hear goes! Not sure what to do about my parging problems. "With all the old parging removed, you've got a decision to make. You can parge again or you might want to consider a simple coat of 100 per cent acrylic exterior latex paint instead. Parging is supposed to help keep water out of masonry walls, but in practice it offers little value. Given how poorly parging ages in Canada, you may want to avoid potential future problems altogether." http://www.yourhome.ca/homes/article/608401 Did the yearly flushes for my car next oil change Jan. 2010 46 months left of car tires I've put about 80 patio
blocks down so far, I might buy another forty and put those down next.
When I put the pics up you'll see my lousy job. Whatever. 2010 parging the house. Hmm, if I'm
going to parge I should put up a pony wall at the same time. Hmm, why
not put a basement in instead? Hmm, why not expand the house and put on
a new addition at the same time? Hmm, this will cost me about the
same as I spent on my house to begin with. Of course once the work is
done I won't have to move and then I can put off painting and the patio
for a full year. Decisions, decisions. Cost, cost. Is it really worth it? Finished staining 7/8ths of my fence not doing anymore this year. Only two window frames left and I'm done painting my house! Primed front of shed. Eaves and vinyl siding 2011 Planted a few Lamiuni Purple in the front yard will see if they live. One looks to be dying the other two doing pretty good. Will need more soil by the back of the
house, more soil for the flower bed, should get manure for the flower
bed, and more slag to the shed once I have the patio blocks down and
see if I want more or not. Will probably get at least ten more. My
yardwork might finally get done 2011 which kinda sucks cause that's too
long for me. Basement Idea: 13ft deep, 203'X 36'9" or maybe I'll change that to 20'3"X 40' guessing this will cost about 20K 2013 might get a pony wall instead of a basement. Will find out 2010 Build a garage thinking this will cost 30K 2014 New tv stand and entertainment cabinets, I can't believe how much these designs have changed, added a

Fergie, Big Girls Don’t Cry
Category: Music
I hear this song everyday at work and it drives me nuts!! I hope you know, I hope you know That this has nothing to with you It's personal, Myself and I We've got some straightenin' out to do And I'm gonna miss you like a child misses their blanket But I've got to get a move on with my life Its time to be a big girl now And big girls don't cry "This has nothing to do with you" Whew, what a relief. "We've got some straightenin' out to do" Damn! If it's all YOU what's with this WE shit!!!?? Why couldn't they just change "we" to "I," or is the song one of those, "there's something wrong and you have to figure it out," type deals. Where Fergie is just being a big B*? PLAIN WHITE T'-SHIRT LYRICS "Hey There Delilah" HEY! HEY! HEY! HEY!! HEY! HEY! HEY! HEY!! Hey there Delilah What's it like in New York City? I'm a thousand F* miles away But girl, tonight you look so hot on my cellphone Yeh you do Times Square can't shine as bright as you I swear it's f*in true (guitar solo) HEY! HEY! HEY! HEY!! HEY! HEY! HEY! HEY!! Hey there Delilah Don't you worry about the distance I'll be right there if you get horny Give this song another f*in listen Close your eyes F*in listen to my voice, it's all I can give I'm by your side What the f* you do to me!? What the f* you do to me!? How could this be? Your the greatest beauty I can see! What the f* you do to me!? HEY! HEY! HEY! HEY!! HEY! HEY! HEY! HEY!! Hey there Delilah I know times are getting f*in hard But just believe me, girl I'll make lots of money with my guitar and singing hard We'll have it great! We'll have the life we always should So just you wait!! HEY! HEY! HEY! HEY!! HEY! HEY! HEY!! Hey there Delilah I've still got a lot to f*in say Every song I wrote to you Should take your breath away I love you true What the f* you do to me!? What the f* you do to me!? How could this be? Your the greatest beauty I can see! What the f* you do to me!? You're two years away and 2 thousand miles Still I see your picture and my frowns all turn to smiles *************** Even trying to make this song heavy metal it just seems really whiny. I mean it is a sad song. Distance of time and space isn't exactly happy, but does it have to be whiny? I guess my real problem is this guy telling his girl he's going to make it big as a whiny little rock star. If I was to write a song like this it'd be more when we get together what it'll be like and the future being awesome. "Good" just doesn't cut it for me. ********************* Oct. 23rd 2009 Reading Delilah now makes me think it's more of a speed metal song than heavy metal. Thank God I no longer hear these songs on the radio or at work :) |

My Dragon’s Den Idea
Category: Movies, TV, Celebrities We have the old Superstore building downtown. I'd like to turn it into a skateboard park in the summer and a skating rink in the winter. I'm told figure skating needs different ice than hockey ice so that's my reasoning. The upstairs could be used for sports announcers, coaches and celebritiy guests. Have a section built for selling and fixing gear. And build a storage shed to put things in between seasons. Charging for parking during Rider games, or coming up with a parking pass for regular skaters is also a possibility. One of the loading bays could be turned into a restaurant while the other could be made into change rooms. Actually turning the old deli into a restaurant could work too. Not sure how much money can be made off of figure skating, but having competitions in skateboarding should be fairly lucrative. If figure skating doesn't work than all year round skateboard park could be a good opportunity. Best Regina Skater gets a life-size airbrush on the wall along with the year and the company name of that years sponsor. Maybe even get a local artist to do the piece. Yeah yeah, I'd be looking at maybe 3 million dollars start up fees. I mean the building itself is probably a million or more and then the renovation costs, advertisements etc. Maybe just start it as an indoor skateboard park and see how well it does. Shut the park down every once in awhile when a dealership wants the parking lot. Aah, the dragon's would eat me alive for this bad idea, eh? |

Grandpadaddy

Kid: Grandpadaddy, what do think of all this Burma stuff? GD: Well I personally like the taste of Brahma, a nice beer. Kid: No Burma the country next to China with the monks. GD: Hmm, well it doesn't really seem like a Burmese problem. Maybe a global banking or financial problem. Kid: WHAT!!! Killing monks is a global problem? Did you misplace your pills!!?? GD: Settle down young whipper-snapper. Burma is using slave labour. Europeans are buying the products of slave labour. The Burma government is constantly asking for loans from China. This sounds like a financial problem. Think about the amount of Americans who have credit card debt and the growing debt of their country. Kid: So the countries with - GD: Hehe, well back in my day you have a weak country and there's a war and the weak country is destroyed and the new bigger country has better working wages. Don't see any new countries popping up anymore do you? Kid: So you're promoting war? GD: No, I'm promoting a new financial system. We have to find a new way of taxing businesses and families. We have to get businesses to make more enviornmentally friendly products. We have to shorten the gap between rich and poor. We need to create a banking system in third world countries where it's easier to get a loan. Maybe even decide what could and should be done to the US if the country is declared bankrupt. Kid: You mean create something like Kiva? http://ming.tv/flemming2.php/__show_article/_a000010-001598.htm GD: Kiva, eh? Sounds good. With more people making money taxes should go down while there should be more money for the government to function properly. By giving people opportunities the government would be more inclined to listen to their people. (shrugs) Of course greed and military will always be around, but making an outline and a positive vision of the future can go very far. *********************************

First Game Intro
Category: Writing and Poetry
FIRST GAME six characters (I'll get back to them later...Hopefully) scene of a girl lying down in her own blood. voice over: She wanted to be a serious actor. Wemt to all the cop shows looking for work and only got a job as the dead girl. Now here she is dead for real this time. There's a rumor that her death has to do with a crime show coming too close to the truth about a murder. Apparently she was pretending to be dead and heard the whole thing. I need six outside operatives to give an unbiased report. voice over 2: It's difficult to say how big of a help the cops will be. We're probably dealing with dirty cops and maybe a political cover up of some kind. Best have the team check ask some questions of the writers, maybe they know something. Choose character. *************** Getting this out is taking longer than I hoped. Well little by little it'll unfold...I hope. to choose from. each a different personality and fighting technique five levels per game each level starts with a practice level showing moves you can do by yourself or with one other player. the game is only one or two player mode. you fight baddies, you fight one baddy on a continuous basis, extremely strong only have to get him down five hit points for the first four levels last level have to get him down 12 hit points. he says a lot of mean things and wears a mask. I bought 60 patio blocks will try putting them all in before Oct. then will see how many more I need to buy. I'm not bothering to level them too much this year just putting them down and seeing what they look like. Discovered Martin Kendell didn't put down as much crusher dust as I hoped he would and while he did smooth it all out he did not make it level. I've put about 80 patio blocks down so far, I might buy another forty and put those down next. When I put the pics up you'll see my lousy job. Whatever. Done is all I'll be caring about at this time.
2010 after parging the house
Finished staining 7/8ths of my fence not doing anymore this year.
Only two window frames left and I'm done painting my house!
Primed front of shed.
Eaves and vinyl siding 2011
Planted a few Lamiuni Purple in the front yard will see if they live. One looks to be dying the other two doing pretty good.
Will need more soil by the back of the house, more soil for the flower bed, should get manure for the flower bed, and more slag to the shed once I have the patio blocks down and see if I want more or not. Will probably get at least ten more. My yardwork might finally get done 2011 which kinda sucks cause that's too long for me.
build a basement, should be 8ft deep, guessing this will cost about 20K 2013 might get a pony wall instead of a basement. Will find out 2010
Build a garage thinking this will cost 30K 2014
I put about 50 bucks worth of seeds down but it's been really cold so nothings coming up as of yet. Slowly buying plants as some are
actually taking off :D Ate my first batch of peas July 7th yum!! Aug. 17th cucumber flowers still no cucumbers, carrots looking pretty good. Some flowers are doing pretty good too.
Yup, 2010 will have to look at painting the interior of the house. If I'm getting a pony wall than the painting might be put off a year.
2014 will clean my house for the first and last time, hehe. well will see.
Put in sidewalk and concrete patio. 2010 after parging the house

Put in sidewalk and concrete patio. Will
have to look at how much this will cost. Put slag on my driveway. Think it's about as level as I feel
like making it for this year. Think I'll get sidewalk blocks from
driveway to house and stepping stones from house to shed and more
sidewalk blocks to backyard. Possibly 2010. Possibly changing my mind on this one. $800!
Finished
staining 7/8ths of my fence not doing anymore this year. Primed the house, painted half the house and primed
front of shed. When the paint peels will need to redo the eaves and get
vinyl siding. Cost 2K with the insulation. Possibly 2010.
Planted a few Lamiuni Purple in the front yard will see if they live. Will
need more soil by the back of the house, more soil for the flower bed,
should get manure for the flower bed, and more slag to the shed
and
around the fence and flower bed. If I can't mow the grass around the
corners why not put in slag? My yardwork might finally get done
2011 which kinda sucks.
